Why local courtroom miles matter

Criminal defense is local. The prosecutor’s tendencies, the judge’s docket habits, which counties try cases and which counties move them — that knowledge doesn’t transfer from a website. It accumulates the way ours did: over 7,000 cases and 30+ combined years, driving to courthouses from the border to the Panhandle.
